SUMMARY

This is a very special car indeed! I bought it from its only owner, who bought it new back in April 1997 from Lancaster Mercedes, Sheffield for just shy of £40,000. He told me he'd previously bought a manual version, but couldnt get on with it, so had to wait quite a while for his local MB dealership (Lancaster, Sheffield) to secure this one for him. He kept the car right up to May 2022 (which is when I bought it) racking up most of the the very low 29,000 miles  in the first few years of ownership, more laterly the car was garage kept and used infrequently for special occasions, hence the very low mileage.

I have quite a soft spot for this particular variant of the W202 as my second ever Mercedes was a W202 C230 Kompressor Sport, back in 2001, so I know how quick these cars are. The optional factory AMG options speccified on this car give an already special vehicle an extra dimension, so as a result this is quite some machine, and very rare too. It possesses real road presence too, and certainly attracts some admiring looks; I used this car periodically during the summer months, and was very suprised by the thumbs up and comments I received from other drivers, which confirms my theory that the W202 C-Class has "come of age" 

THE MTSV DIFFERENCE

Unlike some, I don’t just simply go out, buy any old car, give it a good clean, then advertise it for more than the purchase price, disregarding any issues the car may have in the hope the new buyer won’t notice…I just couldn’t do that. The cars I source are carefully selected and I work very hard so that when my cars leave me, I have the satisfaction of knowing they are as good as they possibly can be within the constraints I have. As such I have many repeat customers and new customers that have been recommended via word of mouth…the ultimate accolade for anyone in business.
